New York and Los Angeles were tied for the top, while Seattle was No. 4 and San Francisco ranked right behind Washington.
Globally, Washington went from 15th place last year to 25th place in this year’s survey. London is ranked No. 1 on the list this year. London is No. 1 due to the location for investment, clarity, reliable rule of law, and the use of English language. Their time zone is perfect for international businesses as well. Office buildings aren’t as relevant for the types of properties foreign investors want to buy. What they’re looking for are more industrial properties.
Foreign investors will remain to rank industrial properties as the No. 1 investment opportunity. As technology becomes more relevant in people’s day to day lives, online shopping will continue to grow.
